Due to the current crisis situation here in Ukraine I'm now offering most cameras at cut down prices. You can make an offer on the rarer items. If there's something you are looking for I can generally find it, though it can take some time to find items in good condition. All items sold are cleaned, tested and adjusted where necessary by former Arsenal factory technicians before being offered for sale. Damage or wear to paintwork, such as horizontal banding can be restored, if required, but since this involves stripping the camera in order to do a proper job you can expect a charge similar to repair costs. If you send me a camera for repair or cleaning / adjustment etc then restoration of paintwork can be done for €7.50 while the camera is dismantled. The same applies to any modification or replacement parts you might require. Minimum repair charge is €35 (maximum €65) and this covers cleaning and most repairs such as : replacement of shutter, fix self timer, rangefinder adjustment and shutter time adjustment. Some cameras are much more complicated than others (Droug, Almaz & Leningrad for instance) and may cost a little more, most repairmen don't want to attempt work on them,. All work and cameras etc have a 6 month guarantee. If you want flash sync added to a camera that doesn't have one, this can be done for most. Cameras can be recovered in a choice of original or interesting materials. Lenses can be polished and coated, recoated for around €35 for a Jupiter 8 or 11, to around €50 for a larger size. Most work will be completed within 14 days of receiving camera, longer if we have to search for parts. Horizonts can be cleaned, serviced and adjusted to remove 'banding' €70. I haven't published my address on site, if you wish to send something for repair or service you can contact me for address via e-mail or SMS. We are happy to receive visitors from other countries, so if you are coming to Kiev for any reason and need help with finding accommodation or a guide to visit the markets or camera shops, find good restaurants etc.. We hope to soon be able to offer a complete and reasonably priced package for camera clubs or individuals who wish to have an interesting holiday in the Ukraine. Postage: Postage for a single camera, worldwide, is €18, or €28 for monsters like the Kiev 60 or Salyut. Extra lenses etc add €7. Postage generally takes 7-10 days (Europe) or 14-18 days elsewhere. Packages are almost always opened and inspected by Ukrainian customs and resealed, so can sometimes look a little poorly packed, but they all leave here well-packed and wrapped. * All prices will be the stated price in Euros. Exchange for Western and Japanese cameras & lenses will always be considered. payment via MoneyGram or upon confirmation of sale. Moneygram is recommended for European customers as payments can be sent in Euros and the service is cheaper. Paypal is also now available : I am trying to arrange a secure credit card payment scheme. This will be a Netherlands based service as this site is on a Dutch server. for contact use napchop@gmail.com or you can telephone or SMS +380-973370817 My own price guide is based on known production figures and availability My price reference is a 2008 catalogue which gives prices for cameras in 'good' condition. If you wish to dispute prices I am open to more 'up to date' information. Cameras such as the Drug, Leningrad and Junost are expensive and very difficult to find here in Ukraine in good condition. Same applies to the Horizont, which is more common but always over priced for the condition of those on sale. Some cameras, such as the Vesna and Arfo etc.. do not appear in the price guides, so I base my prices on similar rare cameras. I try only to buy cameras that are either mint or excellent condition, and where possible with passport and original box. If you want a camera for everyday use you can tell me your requirements and price and I'll find you what you want. This won't always be pretty, but I guarantee everything will function perfectly. Some of my own street cameras look rough, but are all in perfect working order. I know that E-bay has cheaper cameras on occasions and people can have both happy and sad memories of E-bay transactions. So where I can replace, repair or restore a camera I will, to the point where you are satisfied. I cant give refunds since money transfer transactions are so costly, but will always try to find the best variation for mutual satisfaction. I don't do this as a business, it's more of a hobby that tries to provide access to good quality clean, working cameras for those who can't find them easily in their own countries. I also try to use every camera before I put it up for sale, if I find any defects I fix them. A note on prototypes and pre production cameras: These are interesting for collectors but not for serious users since they often showed faults or problems that were later fixed on production run cameras. While rare and collectable I sell these without any form of guarantee, other than stated condition. What I really want.. if anyone can help... is: Bessamatic lenses for my Zenit 4, English manuals for any soviet cameras, or good quality scans of same, And any English publications of soviet camera reviews or advertisements. Also a stereo viewer for the sputnik. Any of these items can be offered as part/exchange for items here on sale. cameras and prices Collectors Corner: rare items German cameras: Zeiss Ikon, Taxona, Super Ikonta, Contax II Agfa: Super Silette, Karat King: Regula IIb Voigtlander, Bessa 66 and Vito CD Rangefinder 35mm: Fed /Zarya: Fed C, new addition, 1939 Fed 1d NKVD, 1949 Fed 1f, Fed 1g , Fed 2a , Fed 2 (type b F130) standard & Green, Brown Fed 2 (type c F140) new addition with box & passport, Fed 2 (type d F150) , Fed 2e Fed 3L 50 years Oktober revolution (F182), Fed 4b , Zarya , Kiev: ''' 1947 Kiev/Contax ''', withdrawn 1949 Kiev new addition, Kiev 3 1950 (prototype no. 072, with original Zorki Lens) Kiev 2 1950, 1951 , 1953, Kiev 2 1955 Kiev 2A , 1955, 1957 Kiev 3A , 1957, 1959 1963, Kiev 'No Name' * (* no photos yet but offered from local collection with all paperwork and manual, only 6,000 made) sold Kiev 4 , 1959, 1963, 1968, 1972 etc...
